Refund Policy
Consulting is people and time, not stock you can return. This sets out what we will and won't refund, in plain terms.

This Refund Policy applies to consulting engagements with Hemmingle Solutions (SSM 202603112107 / NS0322192-U). Read it alongside our Terms of Service and the relevant quotation or statement of work (SOW), which set the specific fees and dates.
1Deposits
A deposit secures your place in our delivery schedule and lets us turn down or defer other work for that period. Once we have started work or held the slot for you, the deposit is non-refundable, because the cost it covers — reserved time — has already been incurred. If we cannot start through our own fault, the deposit is fully refunded.
2The paid two-week proof-of-fit
The proof-of-fit is a fixed-fee, two-week engagement that delivers a working slice of the solution. The fee pays for that two weeks of work and is earned as the work is done, so it is not refundable once the engagement has started. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, tell us — we would rather hear it. If we have not delivered what the SOW described, we will work with you in good faith to put it right or to agree a fair adjustment.
3Cancelling or rescheduling
- Discovery call. Free. Reschedule or cancel any time using the booking link or by emailing us.
- Before work starts. If you cancel a booked engagement before we begin, any amount you have paid beyond a non-refundable deposit is refunded.
- Once work has started. You can stop a phased build at the end of any phase. You pay for work performed and costs committed up to that point; amounts paid in advance for work not yet done are refunded.
- Rescheduling. We will always try to accommodate a reasonable reschedule. A significant change at short notice may shift your delivery slot.
4What is and isn't refundable
Refundable
- Amounts paid in advance for work that has not yet been performed.
- Any payment where we are unable to deliver through our own fault.
- Duplicate or clearly incorrect charges.
Not refundable
- Deposits once the slot is held or work has begun.
- Fees for work already performed, including a completed proof-of-fit.
- Third-party costs we have already committed on your behalf with your agreement.
5How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method. Where you paid online, the refund is processed back through our payment provider, Billplz, to the card or account you used. We aim to issue refunds within 14 days of agreeing them; the time for the money to reach you depends on your bank or card issuer. Refunds are made in the original currency of payment.
6How to request a refund
Email hello@hemmingle.com with your engagement or invoice reference and a short note on what you are asking for. We will review it and respond within a reasonable time. If something has gone wrong, we would rather fix it than argue about it.
